Blood clotting is a process that helps prevent blood loss and infection when blood vessels are damaged.

Description

Blood Clotting Process

When a blood vessel is injured, platelets stick to the damaged area and release chemicals. These chemicals cause fibrinogen to change into fibrin, which forms a mesh trapping blood cells and forming a clot.
