- Build directly from the requirements: Underline or clearly identify the entity identifier and check that every important piece of required data belongs to an appropriate entity.
Common mistakes
- Confusing entities with attributes: Identify the main objects first, such as Customer or Hire, then list the descriptive properties as attributes within those entities.
