Applying Logical Operators in Truth Tables Revision Notes
Logical Operator Basics
The AND operator (∧) results in True only when all its inputs are True. The OR operator (∨) results in True if at least one input is True. The NOT operator (¬) flips the value of a single Boolean: True becomes False and False becomes True.
Constructing Truth Tables
To construct a truth table for up to three inputs, write all possible combinations of inputs (using 0 for False and 1 for True, or F/T). Next, apply the logical operator(s) step by step for each row, and record the output. This method helps visualize and solve logic problems systematically.
