Method

Titration Method

In a titration, a known volume of acid is placed in a flask. A burette is filled with a base of known concentration. An indicator is added to the acid. The base is slowly added from the burette to the acid until the indicator changes color, indicating the endpoint.

  1. a

Describe the role of the burette in this titration method.

Aim for approximately 2 distinct marking points.
